Homage to the Potomac
I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

Homage to the Potomac is a series of choreographies in progress inspired by DC’s majestic river and my time in residence in Alexandria.
The choreographies, which will be presented in augmented reality are inspired by the river and serve as an “homage,” further acknowledging the Potomac’s presence, history, and beauty in the region. The pieces will be presented as an itinerary along the river, offering an interactive component and encouraging an exploration of the waterfront itself.
He who knows what sweets and virtues are in the ground, the waters, the plants, the heavens, and how to come at these enchantments, is the rich and royal man.
